Halloween 2011 – Quarter Scale

Monday, October 10th, 2011

I am the first to admit I can be a little ADD when it comes to miniatures. I truly have enough projects already to keep me busy for years. BUT, I keep coming up with something new to try. In this case, I found myself immersed in a Quarter Scale Theme House.

I added the second floor to add this bedroom furniture. Unfortunately, I didn’t take into account the height of the bed! Yikes!

After seeing my Quarter Scale House, my husband said that Quarter Scale was something I should embrace. We don’t have any more room for any more houses (so HE thinks!). I will confess, working in this scale was fun. And since I need more projects to keep me busy (NOT!), I can see myself doing more teeny tiny minis.

By the way, I think I have finally figured out how to post pictures so that when you click on the photo you get a bigger image to see the detail. Okay, some of the pictures are REALLY big. But, it’s a start?

If you live on the East Coast you may appreciate my husband’s other suggestion. He thought it would be super creepy to populate this Halloween House with Stinkbug Corpses. Eeeewwww!

Halloween House 2011

Friday, October 7th, 2011

I am not a big holiday decorator any more, but I couldn’t resist putting together a Halloween House. It is a work in progress and I plan to continue to add to it as the years roll on. More cutey than creepy – here is what I have so far.

The scary black cats might explain the ghost dog.

Happy Halloween!
